All ringtones downloaded to a phone are expensive. make sure that you text stop to them otherwise it could cost you more and always read the small print before accepting the ringtone. A lot of people get caught out in this trap and yes it is a rip off!

Free yourself from the consumerist chains that shackle you down. Ask yourself if you really need to continually equip your phone with ever annoying, ever useless ring tones. The motive behind buying the ring tone is to impress your peers, but you should be aware that in respectable circles your crass new ring tone will have the opposite effect. You should make yourself aware of the forces that are at work in making you feel like you need an alternative ring tone. These forces are artificial entities and if you refuse to partake in there sterile web and search for something deeper, your life will be more fulfilling.

I am afraid not. You should have found out how much the ring-tone was before you downloaded it.
I have done a similar thing through T-mobile but with a game and they charged me £5 for it.

Yes, you HAVE been stitched up! There's about 20 or 30 decent ringtones already programmed into your phone. You should've stuck with one of those & saved yourself the money!

You need to text STOP to a certain number... Sorry not sure what it is off hand, read the small print of the company you used for ring tone,
otherwise they will continue to text you and take money from your credit (usually 3 pounds) each time you top up.
Fu**ing sly money making bas**rds!!

Usually it tells you the charge before you download, make sure you read everything before you download anything else. Im sure they wont give you your money back, thats how they make their profits making it hard to understand what the charge is so they can rip people off.

Get in touch with o2, they're quite good and are willing to help. Phone them though because the guys that work in the shops won't be able to help you, they will just tell you to phone them as they deal only with selling phones and contracts. Good luck.

Complain to them, they might take the charge off if this is your first billing complaint...
