After the football melee between Miami and FIU, FIU dismissed two players - Chris Smith and Marshall McDuffie Jr., but allowed them to remain on full scholarship. Do you think the scholarships should have revoked as well? (I am implying that it is my opnion that the scholarships should have been removed because these students are no athletes and therefore their scholarships should go to 2 other eligible players)

They might want to but don't want the legal fight over it. They may let them keep them through the year and then not renew them for next year. Though they would probably win the legal fight it wouldn't be worth the time an money. Too late at this point to give a scholarship to another kids this year so this years money is already lost.

I am more interested in the fact that FIU suspended like 9 players indefinitely, while Miami has only suspended one player past the duke game. The NCAA should step in and suspend every player that was on the field and that left the bench permanently. Revoke scholarships of suspended players.

i think they should go because they were kicked off of the team but yet they are allowed to stay on full scholarship even though the scholarship was for football
