You can do what the poster above says, however your PC will still keep a history for a day at a time and may still have records. The only thing you can really do is click "clear history" every time you use your PC.

Assuming Windows XP and Internet Explorer...
Open Internet Explorer
Select Tools from the menu
Select Internet Options
Set the time for how many days of History to keep to zero

Note: this will keep it from storing an History, but will NOT delete any files you "downloaded" while using the PC, etc. To actually clean what you are doing, you will need to use a program like ccleaner.

Remember that the next person to use the PC can easily reset this...

go to TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS. Your going to see a place bout 1/2 way down for how many days to keep the history. Someone might have changed it to 0 days.

OK, Emily, please remember to do this everytime you close your sessions, OK?

In IE, go to Tools. click on it. [That's on top here in the top line.]

Go to Internet Options in the drop down menu and click on it.

Go to the button that reads Clear History and click on it.

Voila, it's history!
