Pull it all the way out. Attach a Nappy (Diaper) pin to it and feed it through the seam!

Along the fold next to where you can feel the cord, cut a small hole, pull the cord, pin it with a safety pin, insert the safety pin in the direction that you want the cord to go, keep streching the fabric as you go along and it will come out right where it was in the first place. Remember to sew close the hole that cut.

Pin a large safety pin to the one side and work it through the open end. Easily done but will take some time. Good Luck!

unbend a wire hanger and hook the end. Push it through the trousers from one hole to the other until it drags one end of the cord out with it.
Then tie the cord to the hook on your wire and drag it back into the trousers. don't forget to knot the cord so that it doesn't get lost again!

Pull it the rest of the way out, then on one of the ends fasten a safety pin and fish it through. after you get it through make knots on either end that are bigger then the holes so they can't slip through again or go to a fabic store and get those ends that are designed for just that.

Pull it all the way out and then put a large saftey pin on one end. Then you can work it through inch by inch. It works! I've done it several times.
