Yes it's normal, but make sure that you mention it to your doctor. If you haven't had an ultrasound yet he may want to do one just to be sure that everything is ok.
As long as there is no bleeding or spotting with the cramps, and they aren't unbearable, then I would say that you are ok.
Congratulations on your news:)

For some people, yes, as long as the cramps are not really bad or accompanied by heavy bleeding. That might mean a spontaneous miscarriage. Hopefully they will settle down soon and you can enjoy the wonders of pregnancy. It's sometimes seen as a way that your body uses to make sure you know something unusual is happening (by this I mean that you are pregnant) But if you are really concerned, make an appointment with your GP and talk to him/her.
I was 19 weeks with my second before I knew (my cycle was always out of whack so a lack of period didn't mean a thing) I lucky never had a symptom other than a little weight gain at first. I hope that everything goes well for you and your new bundle.

yes for me it was normal, but when you are worried never be afraid to ask advice from your G.P.
Not all abdominal discomfort is a sign of a serious problem during pregnancy. For example, you may notice a bit of cramping during or right after an orgasm, and as long as it's mild and short-lived, it's perfectly normal and nothing to be alarmed about.
You're much more likely to have gas pain and bloating during pregnancy because of hormones that slow your digestion and the pressure of your growing uterus on your stomach and intestines.
Constipation is another common cause of abdominal discomfort throughout pregnancy, caused by hormones that slow the movement of food through your digestive tract and the pressure of your growing uterus on your rectum.
However, you are very early on and if the pain in ANY way gets severe or you are even just worried go to see a doctor, it could be more serious- email me if you need any advice!
Congratulations and all the best!

Yes this is normal. Your body is adjusting to all the changes being made. Sometimes the cramps get quite strong but don't last long. No worries unless the cramps are severe and don't stop.

I am now 26 weeks pregnant and im sorry to tell you but you are going to be having those cramps throughout pregnancy. My doctor called it round ligament pain which baisically means that your utirus is growing to make room for the baby. Good luck with your pregnancy and congratulations!!!

yes.. VERY normal.. especially if you've recently had sex... sorry its early and i cant think- but something in the semen causes the uterus to contract,, and can cause cramping.. besides that though-- a little cramping is very normal... just make sure they arent really really bad and you aren't bleeding-- otherwise don't worry and congrats =)

Totally normal. I am 9 weeks and I still get them sometimes. Doc said they are part of early pregnancy and pain from your uterus expanding. If they get really bad and are only on one side, then call the doc, but I am sure you are fine...!

I had those with my second pregnancy - they were somewhat alarming, but I ended up just fine, as did my baby. I suggest discussing them with your ob/gyn, just for peace of mind. As long as you're not having any other symptoms, I wouldn't worry too much.
