Lots of beautiful colored leaves falling to the ground and on the trees. Brisk, cool mornings with temperatures around 50 to 60 degrees. Fall flowers in bloom. People out walking their dogs and enjoying the season. I live in Kentucky!

In Japan, autumn begins with rains at the end of summer. The rains finish around last September, and in early October starts KoYo; the turning of the leaves. All the leaves turn red, gold and pale green for three or four weeks, and the weather is generally warm, so people picnic outside during that time. Once November starts KoYo is usually over, but food specialties like Sanma Fish and nut purees are featured in meals at restaurants.
Festivals and hot springs become a popular past time for people in Autumn in Japan.

We live in north central Iowa, the weather here is actually beautiful, most leaves have turned to beautiful colors, purple, red, orange and yellows the temp. at this time of year are in the 30s to 50s with a low around 25 so far but we are expecting snow maybe by Wednesday or Thursday, snow is no problum anymore crews get out and remove the snow from roads early in the morning or whenever they need. Most people have snow removing equiptment (snow blowers) for sidewalks and driveways. We do have a little more wind at this time of year but it dosn't bother anyone. When it does snow you have to slow your driving down, just use a little common sence.
We have 4 seasions here Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Thanks for asking from Mid America.

The leaves fall off the trees. It's mild and sunny, but windy and beautiful. Very orange and green. The trees look like twilight.
Autumn is my favourite.
I'm in Melbourne, Australia.
