Achilles! And I wasn't looking at Brad Pitt's calves, believe me, though Hector was wonderful, an excellent leader and a good man as portrayed in the film. (Someone should have drowned his brother at birth, though!)
But I thought Achilles complicated, ruthless but able to show a gentle even boyish side.
On the other hand, it's true they miscast Helen. She wasn't even pretty. Nor did she look the least bit Greek.

Do you mean our favorite character? If so, I like Odyseus, although I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling, Ulysses? Ah, his name is the hardest one to spell.
Anyhoo, he's really cunning, apart from being brilliant with his physical weapons. So, he basically has like... 4 weapons: his bow and arrow (that is certainly one, you can't fight without the other), his spear, his sword, and his tricks, as he admits to Achilles while Achilles and Patroclos practice in the early parts of the movie. :)
