sure, the komodo dragon can be found in this demension. as for the "dungeons and dragons" type of dragon, who knows if they exist elsewhere? for all we could know, there might be a world in the universe where the "dungeons and dragons" world might really exist. you never know, the universe is infinite with infinite possibilities.

Well there's not real evidence of dragons existing, but the strange thing is that almost every culture of humans, not matter how isolated, seem to have some concept of a dragon-like creature in their ancient mythology.
However, I did see a program on TV a couple months ago that had some expert person talking about that. They said that the universal concept of a dragon might be an amalgamation of three basic types of predators: birds, like raptors; snakes; and large cats. This makes sense to me, because you've got the talons and wings of a bird, the scales and long neck of a snake (sometimes venom too), and the mannerisms and eyes of a tiger or something.
So maybe a 'dragon' is really just a combination of three types of things to watch out for, universal to almost all humans.

The ancient Celts certainly believed in them and worshiped them as old wise creatures. The Oriental people believe that a 7 headed dragon made the world .the Christians did believe in the myth at least.but they were all made out to be evil.
They may be hiding in caves close to the magma core for warmth and to avoid humans that wold hunt and kill them.
or they may have gone back the Star formation called Draco when people stopped believing in them.
other than that is a matter of faith.

I was just reading about this not long ago. Dragons as we think of them seem to be legends and stories based on factual creatures, probably what we might call "dinosaurs" today. Check out this link for a discussion of the possibilities of real dragons in our dimension:

Based on what we know there are none but paleontologists did find an ancient unidentified skull which was incredibly aerodynamic. Christians believe in Dragons. look up Saint George, he killed a Dragon in a story that's meant to be true.
