Hi,
Please stop worrying. When I saw your question I took a quit look at the old photos of my three kids when they got there first tooth. They got there first tooth between 10 months and 11 months. Its always harder with your first child to know whats normal and whats not.
I am sure as I am writing this, other Mum's are answering your question and they going to tell you the same thing that at this age each baby develops at there own rate.
One thing I promise you, by the time they go to school they are all walking, talking have teeth and are potty trained.
So please don't worry, all sounds quite normal. But always if in dought go to your Doctor
kind regards from another Mum

It is perfectly normal, my now 3yr old didnt get his first tooth untill he was 15 months old and he is fine, the older the better i say as they seem to handle it better. He almost has a full set now just waiting for his 2 year mollars so i think you will be fine. My sons father also did not get his first tooth untill he was 2 yrs old and his teeth are now great the only thing with getting them latter is that they loose them latter but that means th secondry teeth will also last longer. Dont worry they will come all in good time. Ps if you are worried i would first consult a dentist to make sure there are teeth in the gums.

My Mom said I was almost 2 when I got my first tooth so he might just be a little late like me.

My daughter sprouted her first tooth a week after her first birthday. Don't worry about the teeth. They will come in when they are ready.

Don't Worry its absolutely normal, as per the peds. infants start teething anytime from 6 months to 1.5 year , by this they mean the eruption of their first tooth.
So relax and cool , and prepare for the days of biting once your son has all his teeth
