Last night i had a dream about my dad. He died last november but the dream was extremely real.
He was telling me that he is doing things that he wished he done when he was younger. He gave me a hug and told me things about my life and advice. After that there was a bright white light afterwards. The dream was longer than that but it would take to long to write it all down.
I also saw him in the dream come into my bedroom and say you two make a lovely couple, he was on about me and my fiance.
It was so realistic, and i woke up wondering where he was, it took me about 5 minutes to work out he was already dead.
Ive never experienced this before, anyone know what this means, its was wierd!

I don't think it's unusual at all...
I think it is possible that loved ones can reach you in dreams or thoughts - but even if you don't believe in that sort of thing, I do believe that sometimes the dreams we have about people we have lost, reflect who the person was and what they wanted for us... what their character was like.
I think this dream is either a message from him, or is a wish you have, about how your father is doing now... and reflects the relationship you had.
I know I still believe people watch over you sometimes... I always feel as though my Nan is still around some 16 years after she died.
People live on in our hearts and minds.. and yeh it gives us strength I think :)

You lucky girl, spiritualists say that if you remember this event for longer than you remember ordinary ones then it probably WAS a visitation and not just a dream. I had a small one years ago but I still remember it vividly unlike any other dreams I had that long ago and my Father died 48 years ago when I was only 10. Be comforted by it, it must have been lovely.

not to sound too out there, but he could be speaking to you through your dream. maybe trying to comfort you or help you feel better about life without him. it sounds to me like your dad and you had a great relationship and even after death and he wants you to know he is still here and your relationship with him isn't over only different. i hope you continue to have these dreams cause they really sound important and meaningfull.

i never belived people come to us after death till i lost my mum just over a year ago and one morning i woke to find her next to me and it felt so good although i know it was realy my husband i know this sounds strange but as long as i did not move i could feel it was her and i still cherish that time and now feel her with me when i need her to be there so just cherish the feeling i am sure your father just wanted you to know he loves you and is there if you need him

it is his way of telling you he is happy and is doing alright he is also telling you he approves of you and your fiance. maybe you have been thinking about him recently as its coming upto a year scince he died and he just had to let you no he was ok.
