That's probably not a good idea. We actually just learned about psuedoephedrine, ephedrine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, etc, in my Nervous systems class. If people realized all the things those drugs really do to your body, they would not be taking them.

Psuedoephedrine, along with ephedrine and ephedra (herbal, about 90% ephedrine, 10% psuedoephedrine) are all powerful alpha and beta sympathomimetics. This means they are going to increase your heart rate and force of contraction (can cause arrhythmias) and increase your blood pressure, along with some other nasty things. They work well as a decongestant because it causes the arterioles in your nasal mucosa to shrink.

Many places have made it so that both psuedoephedrine and ephedrine must be aquired from the pharmacy (behind the counter) to help curb abuse and the making of methamphetamine.

Try cutting calories and exercising as a better way to strip fat.
