My Girlfriend's Birthday is this Wednesday. I'm a bit broke but I can afford a couple of nosebleed seats. Anyway, I can buy nosebleed seats behing the goal or nosebleed seats along the sidelines. Please help, as we've never been to a hockey game and she's really wanted to go for a while and I want to to have a good time. Thank you!!

I guess I want to clarify I would like to know where would be the best view from the nosebleed section?

Sides will be better, you will see play on both ends of ice.
Have a great time, Hockey is the best sport to see live!

I'm a broke-a** hockey fan, too, so I'm used to the nosebleed seats!! I have gotten to sit on the lower-level seats, which are fun (you get more of a sense of the speed of the game when you sit down low), but I find it better to be a little higher up - you get a better perspective of the whole game. Just try to get as close to center ice as you can. Good luck and have fun!!

It depends on the rink. Like in San Jose there isnt a bad seat in the house. They don't have obstructed view except for a few seats int eh first few rows on the upper bowl but you are looking thru white rails.
I prefer end seats. I don't like to keep turning my head to follow play. The view is contineous and the angle of the rink never changes. Side view when you turn your head the view of the ice changes.

I enjoy sitting on the ends, you don't have to strain your neck all game though the far end you don't get to see as good. Do you think it might be better to save the little money you have now and go later on when you can get better seats? it is just a thought.

In general, side seats are better. But goal seats all depend on the arena. Montreal has great goal seats and the Bruins have horrible goal seats.

sit in the end...you see the entire ice without the glass obscuring your view...plus when the play is coming toward you, you can appreciate the speed...and the body contact in the corners!!! enjoy it, and if you are not sure of some of the rules, ask someone around you...hockey fans are the greatest in sport and they'd be happy to get you up to speed.

behind the goal would be good seats but to see a lot more action would be in the middle seats

buy the sideline seats....its like watching the game on t.v....a big *** t.v ......but its live and your part of the crowd
sideline seats are the best however high you are......goal seats are only good if you want to see your team score......or you want to see your team's goalie......but you don't see much of play when they are on the other end

The opponent side somewhere up 2nd corner section because you can see your winning team score and still watch the whole ice.
