Try The Thermals, The Rapture, The Faint, and Q and Not U. The Thermals have a more indie rock feel, with some feedback in the guitars and a nice beat to keep you going. The Rapture and Q and Not U have more of a dancy feel to them but still hold indie qualities. The Faint is best described as rock meets techno type sound. It's very fun to work to and has a quick beat to keep you going. Hopefully these will work out for you!

Janet Jackson, Missy Elliot, Ciara, 3 Six Mafia, Justin Timberlake, E-40, Salt & Pepa, Pussycat Dolls and anything with a good beat to it. I like to work out harder to the fast songs and cool down with the slow songs. Hiphop and pop is the best workout music. Gets you moving.

You could try "Come On" by the Von Bondies. It's a really energetic song and catchy as all hell.
