Place ice on it until the chewing gum becomes set - this should make it easy to remove. Good luck

I once had chewing gum in my carpet and i used dawn dish liquid also i have used the lighter fluid that u fill lighters up with .It worked for me but your carpet may be different than what i had.

Putting ice on it so it freezes usually works pretty good. Once it is frozen it crumbles off. This is probably less effective if it is old and ground in to the carpet. In that case, rent a carpet shampooer and get some good detergent made for tough stains like that.

Try Peanut Butter!
Then follow up with some Dawn dish-washing liquid to get the oil out of your carpet!
And Voila!

Pour Hot water on the gum , and then rub with a cloth, it should get off. Good Luck

Try using some "lighter fluid".Use to work for me.Got wads of gum out of my hair before with it.

When I got gum stuck in my hair as a child...
My mom put ice on it...
I think peanut butter too...

rub some peanut butter on it until it is removed then clean with baby shampoo. or also mayonnaise and clean with baby shampoo. You can also do this with gum on hair.

rub soem ice on it untill hard and pull out , or try rubbing peanut butter in it an remove . of course you'll remove the peanut butter but thats that easy part ....
