ok i'm a Ravens fan and that i do believe that their protection in 2000 become the appropriate of all time. The protection lifted the group up and carried them on their shoulders to win 11 on the instant video games such because of the fact the super bowl. With the appropriate center Linebacker (Ray Lewis), appropriate shielding address (Tony Siragusa), and the appropriate secondary interior the league, their become not an offense that should beat them.

By matter of records... The 1927 Giants went 12-1, and allowed only 13 points total the entire year. That's 11 Shut outs, including the Championship game. Ive done the research... Nobody even comes close to that kind or power on defense.
By the way, the one loss came to Cleveland 6-0. That's sad, but the defence still pounded them.

85' Bears, 00' Ravens, 70's Steelers
This year's Bears just could possibly squeek by them all when it is all said and done. They have proven they are great and can carry the team. Great def finds a way to hold off the other team and create turnovers. that's what they do.

it has to be the Chicago Bears, as much as i hate that team. they have a history of the best MLBs of all time. Not to mention the 85 bears were the most dominating defense of all time.

if your going to base it on stats and records you would have to say the 2000 Ravens they broke most of the records that plus 85 Bears had and hold the record for fewest points allowed in a season 165

I think the 1985 bears but I was too young to see any teams in the 70's so I can't comment on those.

a great defense doesn't just play great...they invoke fear. no defense, in the history of the league put more fear in their opponents hearts than the Bears. you couldn't do anything
against them:run or pass, period. that entire defense damn near would go to the Pro Bowl.
