I don't have a lot of pain as much as I feel very very nauseous. I actually get sick several times during the first day, and I can't find anything that helps

Get your dr to prescribe some Zofran. Its a small little tablet, strawberry flavored that you place on the tongue and it immediately dissolves. It works instantly. Keep in mind it is only by prescription. I'm using it religiously because I'm in my early stages of pregnancy.

I don't know how old you are... my daughter experienced this until we put her on birth control pills... this alleviated the nausea... I am older (46) and started to experience it for the first time in my life about two years ago. I don't take the pill, nor do I want to. So I watch what I eat the few days before my period is suppose to start... rather than pigging out on salty, greasy, and sweet foods (what I crave), I eat healthier foods - veggies, easy on the carbs, more protein, and I have found that the nausea has pretty much gone away. If I still feel it, I'll eat a few saltine crackers. This helps. Also, if it is really bad, I take the pepto bismo tablets (not the liquid...ugh) and that helps quite a bit. Good luck!!! I know it is not the greatest part of your month and being sick on top of it just makes you wanna stay in bed!! Change your diet and see if that doesn't help.

I had the same problem but relieved my symptoms by drinking mint tea and also ginger tea - you can buy these already in tea bag form or you can make your own with fresh or dried mint leaves and grated ginger, if you dont like the taste you can mix them with ordinary green tea or with a spoonful of honey - another aid i had was to eat little and often, like maybe an oatcake once an hour or a digestive. good luck

Ginger works wonder. You can either drink the ginger tea (very strong) or ginger sweets.
