I have heard that the song, "I'm not ready to make nice," is about her comments about Bush? Is this true?
What do you think of the CD, is it any good?

Yes. It is about Bush. It was written about their issues with them.

"Forgive sounds good, forget I don't think I could. They say time changes everything, but I am still waiting. "

They received threats and lots of negative country press for their harsh words about American politics. The song is a reaction not only to the president but to the situation. "Shut up and sing".

It's a very impressive CD. It covers a lot of different topics. Some about how their family supported them. Some just about parenting and there is a very beautiful song about Alhiemers. I think if you are not offended by their political stance you will like this CD. Probably the best thing they have done since "Wide Open Spaces"

ppl are judging for what she said not for the music. Yes, it is a very good cd just like all the the others they have put out. I think it will be underrated over her political views though.

Its actually about several things, breaking up, about her parents bashing the missing parent and a few other thinggs. I actually like the song even though I don't agree with their views on Pres Bush. I think its a very general type of thing not one specific issue.
Just my opinion though.

Yes its true.. but its more about the response that Americans had to her after the remarks.. and how she feels after being threatened to shut up or die.. Cd is good.. but their ego's are starting to show thru..
