I had a controversy with one of my dear frnd. he says only money is imp in life n nothing else. one can earn good name, become rich n also one enjoy splendid life and b happy at the same time..his ultmate view is if we r rich, then v can b happy. But i'm quite anti to this. I feel money is only a part of life. But can't put an end to all problems. Pl. i request everyone to give their suggestion on this as i wanna show ur answers to my frnd.

i too had a friend with whom i disscussed all this and we used to discuss it for hours.he was for money and i was against.money is a necessary thing in the world but its not the only thing and secret to happiness.money cant buy you love or happiness.the wife that money bought you would love your money and not you.she would wait for you to die and then take over your empire-a short cut to money.the kids you buy with money would wait for you to retire and then throw you to some oldage home to rott and live their lives with your money.money looks attractive but love is amazing.the love of your parents that of you family and frnds is just too special to even compare with money.money buys luxuries and nothing more.drinking the tasteless rs250 coffee in some posh area which has no taste but just high prices is nothing compared to the satisfaction in drinking a cutting chai at the dhaba with your own hard earned rs10.richness doesnot mean that you have a character.things like self respect, pride, love,family and frnds are very very important.if a person finds money too important than our ministers would have sold our country to america and ran off to dubai.morality and character have more value than any currency of this world.mother teresa had no money in the begining and bill gates has a lot but who is the butt of all jokes bill gates not mother teresa.who was given the noble peace prize mother teresa not bill gates.for whom does the world cry mother teresa and bill gates is just an object of envy and geekness.i mean no disrespect to any one but its a fact that if ypou want eternal fame and happiness do what ypou love and love what you do.working for money is just too common and too superficial hence it holds absolutely no value!tell your frnd would he be willing to sell his life for a million dollars and live athe life of a confined king in some secluded desert of africa with only camels and no other pleasures

U r right Mahi. Money can make a man rich but not happy. If money was able to make a person happy no rich man would have any sorrows & all the people with less money would have been unhappy. But this not so. Happiness lies in the state of mind. I think love is most imp factor in life. Everyone has his own views. Ask ur frnd to just think bout his life with lots of money but no frnds, no parents, no relations. No one to share his joys & sorrows. I hope he'll get his answer. I'm happy that sum1 like u still knows the value of luv & relations & treat money as a part of life not life.!!

Rich most probably, but happy? well it depends on what is your concept of happiness. If being rich was the same as being happy then all the poor people of the world would have committed suicide.but they live because every new day brings hope. One may say that hope for them is synonymous with happiness.Every night brings in hope for a better tommorow and that is what keeps the world going.Money though is desirable but not vital.It can only buy the physical attributes of life but the happiness that you are looking for comes from deep within. It comes from noble deeds such as love compassion and sharingwith others.

No money do not make a man happy, nor rich to being satisfied. What makes a man most happy 99% n 100% is his lady and the money is the gateway to present or add toward his happiness. Otherwise he could not be happy without his love at first hand. Now the question is? This man is only happy wanting to be rich and if he is rich and this makes him happy and rich feeling then yit would be to your advantage to ask him are you more to him than money and then it will resolve this issue.

The oracles have spoken in a monotone. 'A camel can pass though the head of a needle but a rich man cannot go to heaven.
I do not know why everybody feels that a rich man is necessarily a misanthrope without consieration for others, wihout love for his near and dear ones. May be he is very busy with his preoccupation but that does not mean he lacks any emotion.In fact, those near to him do appreciate what he is doing for their welfare even at the cost of himself and they love him more for that. It is true that money cannot help reserve a seat in heaven(as one Pope promised once) but without money even the most mundane pleasures are out of your reach. If that life of deprivation you like then the pleasure is yours. Please divest your notions of a rich man necessarily being drained out of any human emotions. The Dale Carnegies are living examples of this.

all rich people are not happy and all happy persons do not have money so it depends on the person who chooses what.if a person wants to earn money then he may think that earning money is happiness but truly speaking money is nothing before happiness because it is the inner sense of ur own which u earn urselves.so i really think happiness cannot be bought by money but only by making others happy.

Dear friend.. Nowadays most of the humanbeings is changing into animals fact.. Upto my thought nowadays money is first and next is sex only.. But i treasure good persons in my life more than money.. I am on ur side.. Only money cant make man happy.. If money itself becomes more then u should fear to save that money from others.. My thought is to earn good people more than money..

money can keep a man above want but not happy. This is because it is not enough to accumulate money but also mange it.
Most of the time of rich people goes in money management.
With great difficulty they squeeze in some holidays etc but these are also interspersed with work. Once you acquire wealth you cannot afford to loosen your grip on it as it has a tendency to slip away to another person.

'money' can definitely make one rich but 'happy' by all means definitely not.
i have seen people without money but happy &
i have seen filthy rich people litteraly crying for happiness
they were prepared to give thier whole life time earnings to seek happiness in their lives.
being rich is good for a better living and at the same time i don't say all rich are not happy but happiness is not related or connected to money.
