IT seems to me that it is ok in the current US society to discriminate against whites blatantly and openly. The Supreme Court even upheld a Michigan university's decision to ban a girl from attanding there even though she met the guildlines, because she was white. So her only reason for denial was her race. This appears as discrimination to me. Whats your take on it?

No it is not. The "minorities" are given many more opportunities for grants and aid than whites. There can be Black Movie Awards and Latino Movie Awards where not a single white person is nominated, much less wins. But let the Oscars forget to nominate a black, Hispanic or Asian in every single category, and suddenly they are racist and discriminating. You can have the NAACP...what about the NAAWP??? You can have the United ***** College Fund, I want the Po' White Folks College Fund! When I was trying to find money to attend college 20 years ago, I found $2.5 million in scholarships I did not qualify for simply because I am a white Christian
Whites in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona should get special treatment. We are the minority here. The Hispanics are the majority. (Partially because they don't know what birth control is)
I will admit, there are a few things where whites are favored. But the same is true with Blacks, Hispanics (Latinos), Asians, etc.

Yes, the Supreme Court case you are refering to is incorrect. The university did not BAN her because she was white, they just did not accept her and accepted others because of their different races even though she was as qualified as they were. Huge difference. This is affirmitive action, sometimes it has its hiccups, but overall, I think that the White race is not discriminated against.

not to create hate but yes their is reverse racism,but thats not even a right(politically correct term) because the use of it seperates us as whitey,against them who is non white when in this day and age I think racism is rampant in every race and creed.....lets face it,this day and age it seems its unfortunate to be white,but i'll bet the blacks say the same,as do the marching latinos etc etc etc

Actually in the last national census it was found that whites are becoming the minorities in this country. Kind of ironic isn't it?
