Since Aug 2006 i have been having unprotected sex with my hubby. I just finished my period Oct 4th and it was 3 weeks late, my period was pretty normal other than it being late. ever since i finished my period i started getting nausea and headaches. I got nauseated everyday, even drinking water made me nauseated to the point that i wanted to throw up but i didnt. my breast feel very tender and sometime i would feel a little tingling in them. also, i did buy an ovulation kit and it shows two lines but the test line is lighter than the other, does that mean im about to ovulate? i know you cant have a LH surge while being pregnant right? thanks for your help

You should take a home pregnancy test. Those are classic early pregnancy symptoms. I'm betting you are just under 6 weeks pregnant. Some women have pseudo-periods during pregnancy, sometimes for their entire pregnancy, it's not that rare actually. You're right, you wouldn't have an LH surge during pregnancy, but...HCG (pregnancy hormone) can imitate an LH surge. I've even heard of women using leftover ovulation tests when they miss a period and if they see that it looks positive at a time when they wouldn't be ovulating they think of it as a good indicator of a possible pregnancy, then they go spend the money on a HPT.

Go take a pregnancy test or go see your doctor. That would be the best way to know for sure. You may want to let your husband in on what is going on if you haven't already that way he be with you and make you feel better stuff like that. Good luck I hope everything works out the way you want it too.
