Contact the top real estate brokerages in your area, set up a meeting with the broker, and tell him/her what you want to do. Ask about their training program for new agents, which is important to help you get started as a an agent.

Some firms require their agents to work full-time, but many do not. Don't fight about that issue with anyone; just look for a firm that will take on and train a part-timer.

Your Notary Public commission is definitely an asset that brokers look for.

Best of success.
