Wait a minute, not to be mean, but how old are you? Most grown women don't go off of what their friends say and don't call it their "area". What you need to do is start charting your periods, assuming that you've ever even had one before. The next time you do get it write the first day and last day on your calendar in you diary or somewhere, and you can figure that you'll get your next period about 28 days from the first day of your last period. Some women like myself though have a longer cycle, like 33 days instead of 28. That will also help you later in life to determine when you are ovulating (the time when you release the egg to be fertilized) for when you decide to have children. Seriously though, I really want to know how old you are. You should have learned this stuff in sexual education or health class by now. Ask your mom if she gets or used to get cramps when she was your age before her period. I personally don't but most women get cramps a few days or even a week before they actually get their period. I hope this helps you.

Sugar, you sound really young. You might want to go see an OBGYN and find out what that pain is. Could be something serious.Take good care of your self....Your friends aren't doctors...

Patience! Your periods will come when your body is ready...and they will go on as long as your body chooses to have them. This part of life is not in your control. Enjoy what you have now...the rest will come in time.
