there are 2 basic loans available to student for school:Federal Direct Subsidized and Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans(FDSL & FDUL for short). look into getting the FDSL because the interest on the loan doesn't begin to accrue until you graduate or withdrawl from school whereas with the FDUL, interest accumulates while you are in school. the other loan products available are: 1.Perkins Loan 2.Parent Plus Loan 3.Alternative Loan check with the school the you are interested in Fianacial Aid/Student Loan Office for additional info on all the loans i've mentioned. good luck to you...

apply for scholarships, look into grants. Then go the loan route if you have to. Make sure you read all the details about your loans, and do your best to get a fixed rate on your loan, as well as try to get subsidized loans.
