If you asked this question BEFORE the Monday night game, I'd say the Bears were the best in the NFC. But now, I'd have to say the Carolina Panthers. With Steve Smith back, the offense has exploded again, and the defense is still there. As far as the AFC, its hard to say. The Colts would be the obvious pick, but they've been struggling lately. You could make an argument for the Broncos and Patriots, and even the Chargers, but my opinion is set on the Bengals. Don't be fooled by the last two games. The Bengals are still dangerous, and the loss to Tampa may be the wake-up call they needed to remind themselves of that.

Bears in NFC, Broncos in AFC. I hope the Patriots can move into the #1 spot in the AFC.

Earlier this season I said the Bears; now based on what occurred last night in MNF, I am happy to say that it's my GIANTS!!!!! (provided their defense keeps improving)
In the AFC the Colts are probably the team to beat, but there are MANY who could do it, I think.
GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!
