Nano means 10 power -9. If we cut our hair 80,000 parts vertically then one part is one nano. Nano technology deals the things in nano scale which means things will be tiny.
Nano technology is nothing but arranging things atom by atom. By arranging atoms in such a way that we can convert stone into diamond. It is now widely researched in almost all the fields.

The greatest thing about nanotech means we can now go even smaller with nanotechnology itself. We can almost be to the point of nature itself and creating something from nothing.

Nano technowledge will allow us, supposedly, to build incredibly tiny "machines" that can be injected into the bloodstream to repair the body internally or deliver medication to specific parts of the body. Out of control nano technology--grey mass will melt/destroy everythink in its path.

scientists are paying great attentions towards nanotech.
the most imp application of this tech is in medical field specially in brain cancer.still now operations of brain are not with 100% efficiency
and security. because before opreation pictures of brain is taken and
parts of it infected through cancer is detected.but during operation mind takes slight movement due to which the efficiency reduces as
cancer cell can not be detected through tech available at that time.which means loss to the normal cell as well.but through this tech it becomes very easy to detect cancer containing cell as nano particles are already inserted in cancer contaning parts which shines during operation and help surgen to detect that cells easily.
this tech is supposed to be the backbone of coming science.

Nanotech is mostly just "chemistry" with a new name.
Determine benefits from chemistry (or biochemistry) and you have your answer.
