how can an occupied country have soverieignty? I think you don't know what that word means

American extremists invaded and occupied their country, and shoot the place up every time the Iraqi people start trying to make their own decisions. I don't know what your junior high debate team was like, but mine never did anything like that.

As long as the illegal occupation of our country by the USA persists their will be no peace. Raping and murders committed by the US soldiers does not stop their will be no peace. The stealing of our natural resource must also stop immediately or their will be no peace. The mayhem US has created in Iraq is way worst then what is shown in the censored news (CNN) or what Sada am did to our people. The sectarian violence has been created by the US because they have chosen a puppet leader in our country. The true leader, who was the choice of the people, was declared a terrorist by the American ,to discourage him not to contest in the presidential elections and this triggered all this violence. America wants to divide and weaken Iraq even further to protect Israel but we are wise to there intentions and will do anything to stop this. We don't want "American democracy" preached by Bush the liar. If Sada am is tried for war crimes than Bush and Blair should stand trial along with him. We want to be left alone to solve our own problems. Any interference from people who do not understand our culture will only create more complications. GET OUT OF IRAQ NOW.

What a jackass question. We aren't holding the government of Iraq hostage. Most of the people over there want a democratic government, but the extremists aren't going to let that happen without a fight. We can't just walk away and let the 5% of the population bully the other 95%. Their government is in it's infancy, and it can't protect itself right now. If we were to walk out, it would get a lot worse over there for the good people who fear for their lives. I gurantee you that if you were afraid to walk outside your house for fear of getting put in a car and shot in the head, you would want our government to do something about it. It's people like you that don't know a damn thing about how the world works who get on here and start spouting off bullshit. Get a clue, watch the news, and STFU.

You cannot have democracy unless all the people are willing to abide by the decision of the electorate. In a country where people are perfectly willing to start shooting up the place if their candidate doesn't win, you can never have a democracy.

It's going to take time to get the Iraqi people invested enough in self-rule to make it possible for them to have a democratic election. It may never happen. Their extremists make our extremists look like the junior-high debate team.

It's kinda stupid, because your forcing a group of people to have a democracy who are used to having kings and religious leaders. It's not gonna work.

Who's not letting them have sovereignty? Get a grip. They do have sovereignty. They have their own government. They have their own elections. They have their own territory. If anyone's interfering, it's themselves.
