Given the question:
Determine the absolute extrema of the function f(x) = |x + 3| - 4 and the x-value in the closed interval [-5,0] where it occurs.

I have min: (-3, -4), but is there also a max at -5 because that is the highest point in the closed interval?

would it be different if the interval was (-5, 0)?

mins** (to late to be doing math) and also f(0) is a higher number so i guess f(0) is the max.. maybe?

would it make a difference if it was an exclusive domain like (-5, 0)?
