(Note: The Paul Simon category includes recordings from Simon's years with Simon and Garfunkel. I did this because Garfunkel is a glorified back up singer who never contributed anything of value. Had I seperated the two Paul Simon would still retain his number two position on the chart.)

(I am also aware that other decades exist beside the 60's and 70's, but, few bands have relased 15 good songs since then.)

My mistake, The Who has 31 good songs, they should be one above Elton John.

Hmmm! Let me see! No Chicago, no Aretha Franklin, no B.B. King, no Chuck Berry, no Four Tops, no Temptations, no Jefferson Airplane/Starship, no Janis Joplin, no Patsy Cline. I could go on but it's getting late. Anyway the point is, your list is fine but everybody has their own opinion about who should be included in a greatest of all time list. The ones I mentioned would be on my list along with several of yours.

First who determined the good songs for each person or group, billboards, you, me, who? I can think of afew good names that should be added to this list, Kiss, Queen, Blondie, Madonna, Abba, to name afew. I guess it really depends on what a person likes!
