Marriage is dying and men don't care?

Question

Why aren't men speaking out about this? Do men not want to get married anymore? Do they just plan on 'banging' as many women as they can instead of committing to one good one? Help me out here.

What do you think will be left once the nuclear family is finally destroyed? ... Just a bunch of trash shacking up ... they'll be the only ones reproducing ... cranking out their dumb, mean, trash kids. Just a bunch of bastard kids with deadbeat dads and baby mama mothers The future looks rather grim.

I agree but I'm quite as passionate about it as you are. I'm never getting married and I think it's awful. When younger, I never thought people hurt others, people got married, had children and lived on until death doing what they can.
All that's left is feminists and assholes.

All people have to do is treat each other right and stay faithful and relationships can work. Men and women have enough sex toys out here to where they do not need only sex from each other. Women do want more and I think men want more too. Not only do I feel both genders want more than just intercourse but also have needs. Sometimes what we need isn't what we want. God created both so we can be together-not apart but if men and women don't step up and do the right thing by each other with respect then neither will provide needs or wants. The sex shops will be empty. Eventually both sexes will long for each other and honestly I think men will come begging first. Treat women right or we will get tired of y'all. Same goes for women in vice versa. I think more women can live happily without sex than men.

I believe men don't speak about this subject because they are afraid of women biting their heads off for their honest opinions. Some women can't take the the truth of how men might really feel. On one hand a man is suppose to be macho, yet sensitive. No matter how a guy acts, to some women it just isn't enough. Well, I believe that some men do still want to get married, because of love. And I will always believe that. Why you ask, because I will be celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary in December. And until recently I found out that he is going to propose again. And I am as excited today as I was 30 years ago. So not all guys, are out for that next notch in their belt. I think you need to give a little credit to people. Sure your always going to have that certain percentage of jerks out there. And their not all guys either, there are women that act as badly as the men. So your future shouldn't look so grim, when there are so many wonderful people out there. I know, because I married one.

Well , we men have a say on marriage but once the wifey has been unhappy and wants a divorce..Technically, she can do what she wants.. Women have the upper hand on a divorce.We can cry and whine about the marriage. And try to fix it ..Its pretty much over once the wifey has made up her mind..She can get the husband for alimony and child support which varies according to income..Men are not the only ones that have changed in a marriage..Women changes dramactically too..You can say that we don't care..But in reality we are fed up as women..Society has made this actions to be acceptable today. I for one tried to work on old marriage and it was the same old s hit probably worse than before..I will never consider of getting married again..There's too much to risk ..WOMEN today are pretty much GOLD DIGGERS..

Not all dads are deadbeats.. I have full custody of my kids and the mom doesn't give any money for my kids..So there deadbeat moms too.!!!!

The future does look grim, for people like yourself, who seem to be rude, prejudiced and ignorant.
Why would you call a child trash kids, or a bastard? its never a child's fault that they were brought into this world, to stick them with this label is cruel and ignorant, So a number of the past presidents of the US in your book are trash? since some were never married and had mistresses? do you consider Albert Einstein trash he had mistresses, do you consider Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel trash since they live together and are not married? I could go on and on.
In a free society there is freedom of choice, you have no idea what so ever what it is like to be brought up and live in a closed society where one cant even date or pick a husband or wife and where mutilation of genitals is considered necessary to ensure fidelity. You need to get out there have an open mind and learn and appreciate what you have in this country...FREEDOM

*sigh* i am a married woman of 30 yrs... and I know what ya mean... I am so very sad about the state of the family and of our young ppl these days... marriage takes more work than some are willing to do... it takes more trust than some are willing to give...... and most of all it takes a heart felt comitment, that most are just not willing to give..... divorce is just to easy these days..... getting married is to easy.... you can go to a little building or even a drive thru, and have someone declare you married, then the next week drive thru other side and the same person declare you divorced.... and to tell you the truth, I find ONE thing responsible for all this... PARENTS letting their kids grow up to fast !!!! 12 yr olds dating is just NOT good..... by the time these kids are 20 there is nothing left for them, no mystery, no excitment, nothing........ *sigh*, ok enough....... women have made it so easy for men. I noticed on this
website how a few responses were like, "if she doesn't give you
any get rid of her". Men have lost respect for women because
women have allowed it. Just go out to any club and listen to
the way women talk. You have to demand respect.
Why should a man get married when now he can sleep with
a different woman everynight. Women have made it easy for men. It has come a long way when you were lucky to just hole
hands on a date.

Marriage has been largely destroyed due to decades of high divorce rates. Personally, I don't want to marry, although I would if I found the perfect trophy wife, just to lock her in for a while (the hassle of a divorce would give her extra motivation to stick with me a while longer until the relationship likely ended).

pretty much...I'm a child of the 50s.that's how they was then and that's how they are now.yes most men would rather "BANG" as many women as they can.its been that way for many years before me and will be that way many years after me. and most men do just that. but thank god for the rest.the real men who love there wife's and family and work hard for them. i promise there is more of them out there then there is women who want them.women i say if you stop trying to change a bad boy you would have a lot more tI'me to find a real man. yes im a women of the 50s and had my share of the bad boys.

Try finding a good woman with even the slightest morals anymore and you will see why men run from marriage. Hell, just look at the general responses on here with all the women talking about wanting to get back with ex's, find lovers, or just throw their marriage away to move onto the next one.

I speak only for me that I want to get married and i have made a commitment to one beautiful woman. I am a virgin till marriage. I agree with you that most guys want to have sex with as many woman as possible and they don't care. I on the other hand can't take listening to guys talk about how many girls they have banged. I told them that they are perverted today as a matter of fact. I agree with you completely but i am one that is all for marriage.
