Not within the United States, but it does make boarding a plane a bit easier. Pass Ports are basically being used for National Identification Cards.

No not if you are a U.S. citizen. However, you do need some sort of I.D. A passport is good for that but a drivers license will be accepted. You might get a hassle but they have to take it. Canadians don't even need a passport to travel in the U.S. But they are thinking of changing that.

No not at all! But it is always good to have your passport updated! Especially if you have any family out of the country and you have to leave for an a emergency!

No, but it should be considered. Arizona is being overrun by illegal immigrants from New Jersey and the sate is going to "pot" literally. They should have a quota system protecting the state from unemployed blue hairs from "Joysey"
