ok if a draft was enlisted (not that it would happen anytime soon but still) and all the people who didnt want to go into the army just said they were gay-wouldnt they just all get out of the draft? i mean after all gays cannot be in the army right>

Sorry to tell you, but gays Can join the military. Beside ever hear of "don't ask don't tell''.

Actually I have several friends in all different branches of the military and from what they tell me there are plenty of gay people in the army, and if came to the point that there was such a disaster that they had to issue a draft I don't think they would care too much about sexual orientation to honest.

Yeah they can enlist and or be drafted since the Clinton administration where they adopted the dont ask dont tell rule.

What I wonder is, "these days"--if there were a draft & someone refused, what would happen to them??? Maybe someone knows the answer to that!

That is true that they can't enlist but if the draft was in place the government, out of desperation, would all of a sudden "not care". I am not sure but it seems that is something they would do.

there you go sunshine. even if you are in the army and you are displeased with your commitment just go to your Sargent and tell her you like to suck d-ick. by law you must be discharged
