Politicians are no different than they were 100 years ago. Before that, sure things were different. But getting into Washington is like getting into Heaven for most politicians, though the means of getting there are much different, in that they are sinister and deceitful. Things aren't working now, because the public is too smart, and we've got much more access to public records. I'll admit that the media is always slanted in one direction or the other, but people are standing up. It's not just the Republicans... it's the Democrats too.

There must be something we can do to out-smart these guys. We need to find a way to get genuine, honest people into office, who will not be swayed by the men in black that seem to make figure-heads of our politicians. We must find a way to prevent our legislators from selling out to lobbyists who offer them nice dinners and more time in office.

Who wants to go streaking?

Sorry, don't know where that came from... Lemonade anyone?

"how to use" not "who to use"

One way I see is to stop the money of special interests supporting not just the politicians but the party as well!

Another way is to pay them a minimum wage scale, give them the same benefits that every American worker receives as well as the same social security. No expense account and no staff!

A third way is to allow them to run (any and all of them) only one three-year term and without being able to run again for office in their lifetime.

I have more but I will stop here.

Term limits might help.

Lighter side--forbid them a freezer while in office?
