Especially if they forget about you and stuff. I figure the only good friend is someone who helps you be more like yourself. Even if they went in and out of your life, you still have a better perspective of who you are.

Good friends are those who will alwways be there up and down; day and night..people who will never judge you even at your worst..people..who will stay with you even if you;'re wrong,,people who will never judge you but will lovingly tell you your mistakes and help you correct it..

You're right. A true friend/friendship is someone who doesn't want to change you. Someone who really appreciates you for who you truly are! A good friend is one who doesn't have an 'angle', someone who doesn't want anything from you but your friendship in it's truest form. I've had many friends who merely wanted a 'clubbing girlfriend', 'shopping girlfriend', 'gossip girlfriend', etc. And, when it came down to honesty, loyalty and really being there, I found that out of a large group of friends, only two were true friends who I could really count on.

I love all my friends, and i wouldnt say that any friendship in my life has been meaningless! Even if i only see them once every 12 months, it doesn't matter! You learn from your friends no matter who they are and how long they are in your life for, without friends id be in a nuthouse by now!!

They say you have many acquaintances in your life and only a few real friends. I think you should count yourself lucky to have any friends but make sure you treasure those true friends who are there for it all.

Hey Well I'll tell you me and my friend stick by each others side and always will be mates. Some people don't have a meaning in there friendship cause they actually don't care who there friends are and they wouldn't care if anything happened to them.......................I have seen heaps of this kind of friendship I don't think we all should bond like this in this world...............................

i am totally agreed with what you said. a good friend doesn't expect you to be anything other than just friend. and this couldn't change whenever or whatever or wherever you are. but in real life, it's extremely hard to find one... really...
