how do i make a fast and easy model of a cell for school. (must be able to hang on the wall.)

I would use a posterboard, constuction paper, crayons, pipe cleaners, and little furry puff balls. They are all easily accessible, and will make your poster stand out.

Just did this with my son. We used clear silicone (window or tub caulk). We put it in a flat clear pie plate and added bits and pieces looking like the internals into the silicone. Let it set for a day and you have a cell that not only can be hung but held and it's flexibility will impress also. It will generally take two to three tubes. Put on entire tube down as a base using a spatula or putty knife to smooth out like cake frosting. Then as you put the second one down add the internals, smooth and let set. Hope this helps.
