*While you may be able to use it, it will be to big to fit in your hard drive, so you should get a Hard Drive encloser, which simply allows external hard drives on a laptop, its not recommended though cause it can be a hassle to use.

No not for internal, laptop HDDs are smaller than Desktop HDDs, (eg) - Seagate Momentus 5400.3 ST9160821A 160GB, 5,400 RPM Notebook drive, go to your local store and ask to see Notebook/Laptop HDDs.

i believe that's a desktop hard drive, not laptop...it is compatible but it's bigger than the standard 2.5 laptop hd's
