That's two straight games he played well and should be 2-0 if not for the idiot kicker.

He absolutely embarrassed that Bears defense, the #1 defense in the NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Raiders thinking Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walters are their future. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get the point but Matt Leinart would not thrive in an Al Davis offense. He doesnt have enough felonies and he is not a reject yet. As for Brooks and Walters, the hope was that Brooks could last long enough to prepare Andrew to take over. But he couldnt even do that. The future looks dim for the raiders. But take heart there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And we have more superbowl victories than half the NFL.

I am a die hard Raider fan and I have always respected Al Davis' player-personnel moves. However, besides John Gruden 'Mr. Davis" has hired or let Head coaches hire some really losers! I think Andrew Walters is a very good quarterback and he'll do well with more time. His supporting cast is the probem along with Art Shell and his idiot Offensive Coordinator. Art cannot motivate the players and it shows. LaMont is running like a punk and Moss is not do much better with his pass routes. So, to answer your question, it wasn't that decision that was stupid its all the other ones that have collectively doomed the Raiders this year. At least we will have some really good picks next year. WHY THE HECK DID ARIZONA FIRE THEIR OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR? I THOUGHT HE CALLED SOME GOOD PLAYS FOR THE WEAK ARMED LEINERT TO GET INTO FIELD GOAL POSITION! I guess Denny had to blame someone for his poor coaching. He's next!

The Raiders and 8 other teams. Only the Saints have an excuse.

BTW, the real story was not Leinart, but the Bears winning without scoring an offensive TD and committing 6 turnovers. Can anyone say destiny? Super Bowl bound, baby.

I agree. Leinart is playing amazing for a rookie. Seriously if it wasn't for Rackers choking twice he would have two wins. If I was working for the Raiders or even a fan of them I'd feel incredibly stupid. Bottom line Leinart is playing excellent and will probably be an excellent franchise QB in the future.

Even more, how stupid do you think they feel for selecting Robert Gallery #2 overall last year.
