I have started a thread on the autodesk community discussion forum and have found out that women are more likely to stay at home and take care of the children if both sexes agree they can handle a child. I say this only because i have recently found out that the animation field is great if you are reallly devoted to 3d or animation. It takes long hours of devotion and perfection to get the desired effect. In order to raise a good family both parents need to be home caring and sharing for each other. Ok im a little of topic. If a woman were to enter the field they would most likely take a postion not requiring actualy 3D work, because women ( from what i have read) don't have as much hand-eye cordination. I guess my question is, what part of the animation film, or gaming,(if there is one) is the best for women? I feel that the women could help the industry but aren't interested because of what society thinks they should do....stay home and take care of the children.

Well there is the actual 3D work where your behind a computer and devoted to. And then there is creating a storyboard, editing the storyboard, and i guess general creativity part, what goes where and who does what, who says what (aka scripting). Etc.

I'm sorry. I read and re-read your question, and I still don't understand what you're asking about. And I'm familiar with child-rearing, animation and gaming...! Could you please re-phrase your question...? I'll bet you'll get a lot more answers, and a lot more answers that will make sense. When someone says "I agree with you completely" you don't know if they really agree, or if they only THINK they agree because the question was unclear. That may be fine for polls or for persuading people to vote a particular way on a ballot question, but for us, please be more specific.
