subtract 4m from both sides of the equation:
9m-22=4m+3
-4m -4m

so you get

5m-22=3

then add 22 to both sides:

5m-22=3
+22 +22

So you get:

5m=25

then divide each side by 5

so you get

m=5.

it seems hard at first but once you get it its easy

9m - 22 = 4m +3
9m - 4m = 3+22
5m = 25
m = 25/5 = 5
