Well, one theory I have is that a person has more than one person that they are extremely compatible with. Whether your soul-mate is the best of these, or any of them simply could be, is another issue.
Since the figures you gave make the chances of meeting your one and only soulmate so slim, it's more likely that there several people out in the world that you are very, very compatible with.

There is not one specific person that is meant for you. You just need to do a lot of dating. Take an inventory of what you like and don't like about each person you date. Also make notes of what you think you might have done wrong in the relationship. Then prioritize your preferences. When you find someone who comes close and meets all of the important requirements, if that person likes you too, it's a match! Any two people can have a successful relationship if they both have a strong enough desire to do what it take to make it work. Good luck! And trust your instincts.

I used to believe in soulmates until I turned 29. then I realized I could marry a few guys out there. After 4 years of marriage I got so sick of our marriage so I made a mistake. I don't think there is one person for everyone out there. I think it's all energy. and when years go by you'll realize that there are other people out there who you could marry and live with if you wanted to. I think it's the tv... and all those love stories that spoil our society adn lead us into this illusion . and then the fact that you are raised with your parents and you follow their steps thinking you have to find that one person and have children etc....I think it's nice to have a family , but I don't believe in it anymore.

One may never find their soulmate. If you spend all eternity looking for yours, you may miss out on the next best thing!
Try and find happiness where you can, but don't compromise what you want to simply settle. Mortal life is too short and you should live out your time as happy as you can make yourself.

I think your just lucky if you find one you can be your self with ,not put you down ,lets you live to your full potential and is nice to you.is faith full and doesn't have too many bad habits ,anything else is icing on the cake.
