A bulge in a tire means that a sidewall belt has given away. Do not chance it . Replace the tire even though the thread is still good. Better safe than sorry.
Ive seen this all the time when i owned my garage years ago. I never let my customers drive away with this condition. I didnt want this on my conscious knowing my customers had a defective tire, what if they got into an accident.
good luck

If you have a small little bubble its nothing serious enough to where the car tire will explode. Dont listen to some of these people above me, I mean yeah, its not good, but it won't explode on you. I had the same problem before, and I had a bulge in my car tire for 2 years, after 2 years it just went flat, due to hot temperatures, made the tire just go bad. If yours is small, you really dont have anything to worry about. I'd say by next spring or even before then, you may want to get a new tire. Whichever makes you more comfortable.
Since you changed job locations, will you be driving on any bumpy roads or anything? Email me back and let me know, you can reach me at low_eclipse_gt_01@yahoo.com.

If it's only one tire and you are concerned about it,try to find a tire to match the rest of the tires and use the one with the bulge as a spare.

If you have a tire with a bulge you need a new tire. It will blow and go flat. It may be covered where you bought it. Do you have your receipt? Guarantee? Go get a newbie! Not nec. a whole set. That depends on how worn all your tires are.

I wonder if Wicked would be willing come to your funeral. If you have a blowout at freeway speeds, it isn't fun.
Get a new tire, or a whole set.
If you just get one, you can get a new set when the other 3 wear a little more, then make the newest one your spare.

It could go away,if it is in the side wall, it could have disappated in between the plie, you know spread out over a larger area so it isn't noticable.. I've driven 15,000 miles on a tire like that..

Its NOT ok, it means an internal belt has snapped, and it could blow out at that spot. Tire guy was stupid, any bubble on a tire is NOT safe. Get a new one pronto.
