I assume you are talking about what looks like spots on dishes. If this is what you mean it is actually from hard water (calcium and lime deposits). In this case you need to use CLR or a product callen "The Works" both are made to remove this. And
to keep it from returning you might check into a water softner system or water filtration.Hope this will help.

Kitty litter, unused of course, is great for absorbing greasy stains out of hard porous surfaces.
Just sprinkle a small pile over the stain and let sit for several hours. It is mildly abrasive, so don't rub or place anything on it. The stain will be absorbed by the dry litter. It is Works great on driveways too.

Bleach and more elbow grease. Marble is remarkably stain resistant, provided it was polished propperly to begin with.
