Back in 1984, Vanessa Williams became the first black Miss America ever. A couple of month's later, she was dethroned due to naked picture's of hers in Pent House with another woman. Do you think Vanessa Williams should have had her title taken away, because of the pictures that she took way before she was crowned Miss America? I'm asking this because my daughter is doing a report on her.

On Vanessa Williams, she herself does not seem to regret the past, or dwell on it either. She has matured into a very fine type of woman, that your daughter could emulate with great gain for all concerned. Her interest in her skin texture, and desire to cure acne in young women is also commendable.

I don't think she should have been stripped of her title, no.
But to save herself the trouble she should have thought about that and what might happen if they surfaced.

I think she is beautiful. I think she got robbed. i saw those pics back then, what a scandal. but it made her more famous than she would have been otherwise probably.

I don't think it should have been. I think she is a very lovely person and is doing well now in spite of everything.
