Byderule is correct. Heroin addicts are referred to as junkies. Crackheads are people who use crack cocaine. However, a lot of times, a person who has a drug problem may be (incorrectly) referred to as a crackhead, which is why there may be some confusion there. Also, someone who looks like they use a lot of hard drugs may be referred to as looking "cracked out."

People who are addicted to crack cocaine are "crackheads". Heroin addicts aren't crackheads. In fact, I'm not real sure what they are called.
