It's O.K. Your baby girl is just fine. This is quite normal for newborn baby girls. It will go away.

Although it didnt happen to my girl, I have heard baby girls can have discharge as a normal result of her little body trying to cope with hormones from you that are still there. It was more spotting of blood I had thought... are you not still in the hospital at just 3 days PP?? I'd pick up the phone and call your pediatrician, your OBGYN if you havent picked one yet, and ask. It'll take just a minute and calm your fears. And I'm sure at this stage you have a lot if you are anything like me! Better yet, make a list of several ?'s and get them all asked at once.

I had my baby September 5th and she had that. Just clean it very well each time you change her. If you're still worried (which you probably are). Call your Pediatrician. They answer questions over the phone and if he's concerned he will have you come in. They are very helpful. Especially with first time moms. Good Luck to you and Congrats on your newborn1

Discharge from a baby girl is totally normal. Your hormones are still going through her. It will clear up.

Yes it is quite normal and common for baby girls. Just clean her carefully at each diaper change. This will go away on its own.

There is nothing wrong with your baby, this can be caused if your baby was over due, or if your baby was born breech. just keep it cleen and if it dose not go in a couple of day go and see your Gp.

Yes sometimes newborn girls have a little vaginal discharge. I believe my pediatrician said it was hormones or something (its been a while). This is nothing to worry about if it is a small amount. If you're worried, call your pediatrician in the morning.

I am not sure if that is too normal. I have heard of it happening to women on many cases. After having a girl she usually has a "mini period" and it is usually not noticeable.
If you have concerns definitely contact your pediatrician. I would recommend calling your pedi's nurse.

It bc of extra hormones in her system from when she was born. It happens to lots of little girls. Just make sure it doesn't get worse, change color, or start to smell...then it could mean an infection.
