I actually don't really care for clowns. I think that it all stemmed from the movie "IT." They all just kinda creep me out now, because you never really know what the person looks like under all that makeup and stuff.

They just give me the heebie jeebiess because I don't really know what is underneath all of that make-up. I actually know some people who are in a clown group and they have conventions and put on shows and do parties. They themselves are strange people. I have actually been to one of the parties they performed at & also one of the conventions where clowns from all over the country came to congregate at. I just couldn't be friends with them, they were pretty boring. I didn't see much creativity going on anywhere. Clowns really need to remake themselves, they just are not very good entertainment. To each his own, I guess.

I thought the fear of clowns was really made up until I went to visit my auntie, who apparently collects them. I never thought I would find these things so scary, but I was so entirely horrified. I actually had to sleep with the light on! I was so embarassed until I found out that the fear is legitimate. I HATE clowns.

Clowns don't bother me as there are some all around us every day as clowns do not always dress up in funny costumes like Clarabelle.

Certain cartoon clowns scare the hell out of me. I never had a fear of them until my aunt gave me the creepiest clown statue, that's what set me off.

I suppose some people just have a phobia of clowns like people have phobias of spiders and other things. Well, actually I know someone who is and he says that they just scare the $hit out of him.

I'm not afraid of them but, I can't understand why anyone thinks they're funny. They're! Not! Funny! They are a little creepy, though.
Oh yeah, and John Wayne Gacy was a clown. That doesn't help any.

Me and my one niece don't fear clowns. We find them funny. And we also pity them that they have to dress up so. But my other niece is annoyed by clowns. She always stays away from them.
