Hi P.F.
I love pumpkin pies. They taste sooo good and their special because they are usually only available Nov.-Dec. But have you ever roasted/toasted the seeds right out of the pumpkin? Yummy! Clean them and get the orange strands off them. Then soak them in slightly salty water for a lil bit. Put them on a cooking pan and put them in the oven at a low heat. Stir them around after they cook for a few minutes. When they start to get a slight roasted color--very light, pull them out of the oven and let them cool down. They are tasty. Try this with a few to see if you like them. If you do like them, it's amazing how many seeds a pumpkin contains!
