Hi. If you have a drug charge, housing is the last place you need to be! It's terrific you have your children. Good for you! There are some treatment centers that have housing for mothers and children. I know there are past drug use mothers. I'm not sure about the felony, thou. I have a felony charge, but it was not drug related. Most housing is available thru HUD. There should be a # posted locally. Check the library. And if DHS is helping with food and medical, they have a program where they will help w/ rent and utilities.
Get in touch with your local Department of Human Services. They will try to be evasive, you be calm, but firm. And don't be afraid to take it to the next level. Talk to their supervisor. If you respect them, they will respect you. Good luck!

you probably can't ... i believe in most states drug convictions are an immediate dismissal of applications, unless you can prove that it was something minor ... but because of the law changes and the checking of criminal backgrounds most if not all are not accepted.
