An amoeba doesn't have cilia. The amoeba pushes out some of its cytoplasm and moves the rest into the space.

First they are in a liquid or gel like substance so they can move with currents. They also have flagellum- I had a professor that refered to them as little spinning motors- they are like a tail that whips in cirlce like a mixer in cake mix. So this results in force being put in the substance the amoeba is suspended in.

the amoeba and the chaos move by means of pseudopods. They are commonly studied freshwater protists. The pseudopods is a cytoplasmic extension of amoeboid protists, used for the lomotion and engulfing food.
