You know when you buy a birthday card for someone, and on the back of that card it tells you the price, for ex : USA $2.99 Canada $5.00

When I'm giving gifts away, I make sure I ripped all the prices off of course....so I was wondering if I should leave the price in the back of the card, or should I erase it?

Do you guys leave it as is?

You should just leave the price because it is not the price but the thought that comes with the card that your friend will care about. Most people dont even look for the price on the back

If someone wants to look at the back of the card - let them. It doesn't matter if they see how much is printed on it. There's no way to be sure what it cost because it may have been marked down. It isn't necessary to cross off the price.

Most people take the price tags off gifts, but it's ok to leave the price on a card. Looks tacky if you black it out.

leave it. I didn;t know people really even checked. Better yet, make your own! They'll know you spent time, not money...heh, thats an idea! you could print like 45 minutes on the back of a card!

its just a card.....nobody expects a card to cost $50....its what the card says on the inside that counts, not how much you paid for it.

If you feel the need white it out or run a black marker over it. Even better put a sticker on it.
