Evolution doesn't work that way. The ape was a genetic dead-end. It may continue to evolve differently from it's present state, but it lacked the genetic key necessary to continue to evolve toward humanity. It would require a new parallel genetic mutation for it to become more like a human, and the line of apes now in existance lacked the ability to gain that mutation when their cousins eons ago developed it.

I'm guessing that English is not your first language but, - Are you human ? Perhaps it might be possible for apes to reach the same mental state as one particular human but I have to ask - How do you feel about being a slave? & Don't u 'av spel chek on ure p.c.?

Then it would no longer be apes. However if your question is "will ape evolve into human?" the answer is if a circumstance that necessitate for the evolution arises, it will.

I think maybe they along with others in the animal kingdom maybe more intelligent than we are.....case in point they don't proliferate nuclear weapons...... nor do they trash the environment that gives them substance as well as life and I could go on and on but I feel I've made my case

Hi I recon their even more intelligent than us, Its cos they cant speak our language that we dont know for sure if they are. I hope one day we will find out and I hope I was right. I think dolphins have the highest intelligence too, I cant wait to find out aswell if they are more intelligent than us, they sure as hell dont pollute anything that belongs to nature. no. i don't. i think that humans are, always have been, and always will be more intelligent than apes. they haven't been getting smarter. yeah, you can teach them sign language and other cute tricks, but that's because humans have taught them. they are only mimicking us.
